Doug released NOCTURNAL in early-2008. The album contains 13 songs, 12 originals plus a solo piano, instrumental rendition of Billy Joel's "Piano Man." Doug explored a plethora of musical styles on NOCTURNAL, ranging from nostalgic piano ("Home") to new age ("Journey") to smooth jazz ("Living Color") to synthesized neon ("Nocturnal") to blues ("Blue") to sad longing ("Remember"). The album is truly a soundtrack for our lives!
